Peoria Heights History Exhibit

September 4-15, 2023 | Exhibit A Gallery

These exhibits will feature photos and artifacts going back to the days when the Village was known as Prospect Heights. Commemorative booklets, coins, t-shirts and other memorabilia will be available for sale.

Taste of the Heights 2023

September 7, 2023 | 5:00-9:00pm

Our annual event, Taste of Peoria Heights features local food establishments from the Peoria area, each providing an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Tastes are purchased with Tokens which will be available for cash purchase in advance at locations around the Heights and day of the Taste. Learn more

Mr. Peoria Heights Fundraiser

Multiple Dates + Times | Still Accepting Applicants

A new feature, this competition/fundraiser will feature men of the Heights and surrounding areas as they compete for Mr. Peoria Heights 2023. Proceeds raised will go to fund the Peoria Heights Food Pantry. Learn more

Cruise In Car Show

September 8, 2023 | 5:30-8:00pm | 1200 E. Glen Ave (Pearl Insurance Parking Lot)

Cruise In at the Pearl Insurance Parking Lot! Classic cars will be on display for the general public’s viewing.

Heights Artisanal Market

Area vendors will be selling their own creations of art, crafts, clothes and more. Enjoy live music as you peruse the local selections. View Vendors

Children’s Amusement Park

Coming to the 4900 block of Prospect and Kingman is a children’s amusement park with riptide, ferris wheel, tea cups, disco car ride, sizzler, kite flyer, merry go round, dragon wagon, bounce house and slide. This is a family-friendly event, with food and entertainment available. Tickets are available for cash purchase in advance.

Tokens, Tickets + Registrations

Taste Tokens

Taste Tokens are used to purchase food and drinks at Taste of Peoria Heights, which can be purchased with cash in advance or on the day of. Advance locations can be viewed at the link below.


Children’s Amusement Park Tickets

These tickets will give you entry to the amusement park. Limited and unlimited tickets are available for cash purchase. More information about pricing and locations can be found at the link below.


Mr. Peoria Heights Registration

As a fundraiser, we are asking registrants to pay a $25 entry fee that will go to support the Peoria Heights Food Pantry.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! Tokens and Tickets can be purchased in advance at these locations.

  • Tokens and tickets are available for purchase for CASH ONLY.

  • There is free parking available throughout Peoria Heights at the Tower Park and behind Joe’s Italian. There is also street parking available, but be sure to pay attention to signs for where not to park.

  • Yes, portable toilets will be available at several locations, and will be announced for each event. There are also public restrooms located at Tower Park.

  • Yes, but please keep all furry friends on leashes. Please also only bring furry friends that get along well with others.

  • Yes! Check out the volunteer options at this link.

  • While we would love for everyone to be able to attend, we understand that for some it isn’t possible. We are accepting monetary donations to support the Heights Food Pantry at this link.
